Better Bluetooth Audio on Windows: What Helps

If your headphones sound thin or lag behind video, check the profile in use. Some headsets switch to a lower-quality mode when the microphone is active, which is normal but unpleasant.

Keep the headset firmware updated, stay within a few metres and avoid obstacles. A current Bluetooth driver can also improve codec support and stability.

For games or video calls, a wired or dedicated USB option may still be better. Bluetooth is wonderfully convenient, but it is not always the best choice when timing matters.
